This was our last stop in Dar and we regret not coming here sooner. Everything on the menu looked delicious! Our orders came out quickly and the staff helped to separate our dine in and take out. Everything was well prepared and tasty. The prices were also very reasonable. We ordered chicken soup, vine leaves, chicken Caesar salad and potatoes. We also ordered sandwiches to go which were good even a few hours later. Highly recommended food spot in Dar!

Delicious food!! Will definitely go back here. We were three people and ordered falafel, hummus, tabouleh and the small mix grill platter. It was just right for us. The prices are very decent as well. Budget about 25k per person. Ambiance is amazing, especially the outside sitting around the fountain! Weekends are extremely packed so be sure to either make a reservation or wait in line!

Great place to be and good vibe. I had a mixed grilled, the food came rather quickly. I was kinda confused with the big onion they provided me as part of the mixed grill, seems like a waste.. since most of it was raw inside, was kinda disappointed with that. The fries were just amazing and overall the food was great! the lemonade was a bit too sweet for my taste, it felt a bit unnatural.

Since the day I started living in Tanzania, Levant Restaurant has been a place I have frequented for nearly 5–6 years, and despite all this time, I have still not found a true alternative.
With its warm atmosphere, professional and friendly staff, and most importantly the exceptional dishes prepared by Chef Mahmut, Levant has become much more than just a restaurant for me—it is an essential part of my life here.
I can confidently recommend Levant Restaurant to anyone who appreciates consistency, quality, and truly outstanding flavors.

If you like Lebanese food this is the place to go in Dar Es Salaam. We have tried many different dishes but especially their hummus and falafel are delicious. The place is cozy and it’s almost always full which creates a good atmosphere. The service is quick and friendly.

This was my very first time visiting Dar es Salaam, and I have to say it left a wonderful impression on me, especially thanks to our dinner at Levant. From the moment we arrived, the restaurant gave off a warm and inviting atmosphere. The outdoor seating area in particular is beautifully set up — spacious, comfortable, and with just the right amount of lighting to create a relaxed yet lively mood. It immediately made us feel at ease and ready to enjoy the evening.
For food, we ordered a variety of dishes to share, and every single one exceeded expectations. The mixed grill was cooked perfectly, with juicy, flavorful meats that were well-seasoned without being overwhelming. The Greek salad was refreshing, crisp, and balanced — a perfect complement to the richness of the grilled meats. We also tried their soup, which turned out to be one of the hidden highlights of the meal; comforting, flavorful, and exactly the right temperature. Together, these dishes made for a well-rounded dinner that felt both hearty and elegant.
What really made the experience stand out was how consistent everything felt — the attentive staff, the timing of the service, the quality of the food, and the relaxed vibe of the outdoor setting. It’s rare to find a restaurant that delivers so smoothly on all these points, especially on a first visit to a new city. I would highly recommend Levant to anyone coming to Dar es Salaam, whether for business, travel, or simply to enjoy an excellent evening out.
